Good news for Christmas movie fans in the UK! Movies 24 and True Movies have once again temporarily re-branded themselves for the festive season, and their schedules are all-out Christmas.
Last year we reported on how Movies 24 had rebranded themselves as Christmas 24 and were showing Christmas movies from October onward. Well, they’re at it again, and they’re not the only ones.
Christmas 24
Christmas 24 kick-started their season of Christmas films in October by once again screening festive flicks on weekend afternoons. However, now we’re in to November, it’s full steam ahead with wall-to-wall Christmas movies every day of the week. Wonderful!
Already, the likes of I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus, All I Want for Christmas and Christmas in Canaan have all been shown and will continue to be. So if you find yourself with a few hours, or days spare then kick-back, put the fire on and get festive with Christmas 24.
The channel is available on Sky 327, Virgin 419 and BT 513.
True Christmas
True Movies have also got themselves in to the Christmas spirit nice and early, as they have done the past few years. Their programming is also dominated by Christmas films, including A Christmas Visitor, A Christmas Romance and One Special Night.
When they aren’t showing Christmas movies per se, they are showing some classics that have not been a strangers to our screens in years gone by. The Waltons and Little House on the Prairie are two such titles.
The channel is normally known as True Movies 1 and is widely available, including on Freeview. Those all-important channel numbers are; Freeview 82, Freesat 302, Sky 321, BT YouView 082.

USA: Christmas 24 is actually Hallmark Channel in the US. Their Countdown to Christmas schedules have begun. Check local listings. ABC Family also begins screening their Christmas movies on December 1st.
